QUESTIONS OF NUTRITION – WHAT ABOUT THE WHEAT GRAIN? (NEEDING CHLOROPHYLL)

A high-energy food can be obtained by keeping the wheat moist and warm so it can germinate. According to the temperature, the wheat takes about two or three days before it begins to sprout; then use the sprouted wheat in the same way you would the ungerminated kernels. Germinated wheat is good for the blood and is a tonic for the whole body. Let the sprouts grow 2-5 mm (up to about Va inch) long, but remember to put the grains in a warm place so that they are encouraged to germinate. Do not add more water than the grains can soak up. On the other hand, instead of soaking the wheat in water, you could spread it on a wet cloth; the sprouts will then be greenish in colour. These green sprouts are necessary for people suffering from anaemia, who need chlorophyll.
