Saffron has been widely used for treating cancer, but has been outlawed for consumption in non-culinary situations in the United States because of an FDA report saying it can cause cancer in rats.

Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare)
Traditionally considered by herbalists as a cancer cure.

Important note!
Specific herbs may be more suited to individual types of cancer. Before deciding to use herbs for cancer treatment, consult with a qualified herbalist or naturopath as to the most beneficial herbs for your particular type of cancer and for the appropriate dosage amounts, according to your body weight. Certain herbs are contraindicated in a variety of different medical conditions, so always seek professional advice before using.
